Illinois High School Football - Lemont crushes Thornton Fractional South

Lemont Lemont HS (Lemont, IL) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Thornton Fractional South Red Wolves (Lansing, IL), 55-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lemont upgrades its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Lemont HS host Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to meet the Meteors in a non-league match on Friday, October 3. The Meteors come into the match with a record of 0-2.

Coming up next, the Red Wolves meet the Tinley Park Titans (Tinley Park, IL) in a challenge, on Friday, October 3. Thornton Fractional South will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Titans go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 55-6 league loss to Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL).
