California High School Football - Pittsburg smashes Marin Catholic

The Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, CA) football trounced the visiting Marin Catholic Wildcats (Kentfield, CA), 35-3 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Pirates now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Los Gatos for a non-league game on Friday, October 3. Pittsburg will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 41-0 non-league win over Burlingame (Burlingame, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-1.

The Wildcats (2-3) will now prepare for their game against San Marin (Novato, CA). The Mustangs enter the game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, San Marin overwhelmed St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA), 41-14, in a non-league outing.
