The Yreka Miners football squad scored 28 points and limited the visiting Mazama Vikings to 12 in the Miners non-league triumph on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host West Valley for a challenge on Friday, October 10. Yreka will face a Eagles team coming off a 42-41 non-league loss to Enterprise (Redding, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshfield (Coos Bay, OR). The Pirates go into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
