In Friday's non-league test, the visiting Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cristo Rey De La Salle Mustangs.

With the triumph, Oakland Military Institute advances its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Bentley (Lafayette, CA) to clash with the Phoenix in a non-league game on Wednesday, October 1. The Phoenix come into the game with a record of 5-2. Bentley lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Head-Royce (Oakland, CA)

The Mustangs (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Averroes (Fremont, CA). The Falcon come into the non-league game with a 2-3 record.
