Virginia High School Soccer - New Covenant knocks off Fishburne Military

September 26, 2025: Lynchburg, VA 24501

The New Covenant Gryphons soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons to 1 in the Gryphons league victory on Friday.

Next, the Gryphons face the Carlisle Chiefs (Axton, VA) in a Blue Ridge Athletic game, on Tuesday, September 30. New Covenant will attempt to advance on its 10-1 season record. The Chiefs come into the game with a 1-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Westover Christian Academy (Danville, VA).

The Caissons (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Hargrave Military Academy (Chatham, VA). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 0-7 record.
