Wheeler Warriors (Providence, RI) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Landmark Vikings (Prides Crossing, MA), 6-2 in a league bout.

The Warriors now hold a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Bancroft for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 2.

With the loss, Landmark moves to 0-2 on the year. The Vikings travel to Beaver Country Day (Chestnut Hill, MA) to face the Beaver in a Eastern Independent game on Monday, September 29. The Beaver come into the game with a record of 0-4. Beaver Country Day lost 5-0 in their recent league game against Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME)
