Colorado High School Softball - Chaparral edges Ponderosa

September 26, 2025: Parker, CO 80134

Spectators at Friday's league contest between the Chaparral Wolverines (Parker, CO) and the host Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), saw Chaparral's softball squad nip Ponderosa by a tally of 8-6.

The Wolverines (9-7) will now prepare for their bout against ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Grizzlies go into the 5A/4A Continental bout with a 5-11 record. In their last bout, ThunderRidge by Palmer Ridge (Monument, CO), 14-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs clash with the Legend Titans (Parker, CO) in a 5A/4A Continental contest, on Monday, September 29. Ponderosa will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Titans enter the contest with a 15-4 record after their 15-3 league win over Mountain Vista (Highlands Ranch, CO).
