In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hephzibah Rebels softball team scored a tight 7-0 victory over the Howard Huskies .

The Rebels (2-8) will now prepare for their match against Burke County (Waynesboro, GA). The Bears go into the non-league match with a 12-10 record. In their last match, Burke County tipped Academy of Richmond County (Augusta, GA), 18-3, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Huskies play the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a non-league game, on Monday, September 29. Howard will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Patriots enter the game with a 2-16 record after their 17-0 league loss to Dodge County (Eastman, GA).
