The Maricopa Rams volleyball squad (Maricopa, AZ), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Arvada West Wildcats (Arvada, CO)

With the win, Arvada West improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Liberty (Peoria, AZ) to encounter the Lions in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Lions go into the battle with a record of 5-4. Liberty won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ)

The Rams now own a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon del Oro for a 5A - Sonoran battle on Wednesday, October 1. Maricopa will encounter a Dorados squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Mountain View (Tucson, AZ). The Dorados record now stands at 11-10.
