Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Louis Catholic Saints (Lake Charles, LA) and the visiting Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA), observed St. Louis Catholic's volleyball team top Ascension Episcopal by a count of 2-0.

The Saints (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Vinton (Vinton, LA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Vinton was knocked off by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

The now own a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lafayette Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 27. Ascension Episcopal will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Cecilia (Cecilia, LA). The Knights record now stands at 8-8.
