Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) followers left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ayden - Grifton advances its record to 14-5 on the season. The Chargers host South Point (Belmont, NC) to face the Red Raiders in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Red Raiders go into the test with a record of 12-5. South Point won 3-0 in their recent league test against Huss (Gastonia, NC)

The Raptors now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McMichael for a non-league test on Friday, September 26. Mountain Island Charter will face a Phoenix squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Phoenix record now stands at 13-7.
