Connecticut High School Volleyball - Griswold over Wheeler

The Griswold Wolverines (Griswold, CT) volleyball knocked off the host Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT), 3-0 in Friday's league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield for a Eastern Connecticut - Small bout on Monday, September 29. Griswold will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 6-5.

With the defeat, Wheeler falls to 2-2 on the year. The Lions host St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT) to battle the Saints in a non-league match on Wednesday, October 1. The Saints enter the match with a record of 0-2. St. Bernard lost 3-0 in their recent non-league match against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)
