South Carolina High School Volleyball - South Aiken tips Hilton Head Island

Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) and the host Hilton Head Island Seahawks (Hilton Head Island, SC), observed South Aiken's volleyball team hold off Hilton Head Island by a tally of 2-1.

The Thoroughbreds (17-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Riverside (Greer, SC). The Warriors enter the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Riverside was tipped by Dorman (Roebuck, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Seahawks meet the Beaufort Eagles (Beaufort, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 27. Hilton Head Island will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 7-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Hilton Head Island (Hilton Head Island, SC).
