Utah High School Volleyball - Intermountain Christian over Merit Preparatory Academy

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Intermountain Christian Lions (Salt Lake City, UT) and the visiting Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), saw Intermountain Christian's volleyball squad notch a victory over Merit Preparatory Academy by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Intermountain Christian improves its record to 10-8 on the season. The Lions travel to American Leadership Academy (Spanish Fork, UT) to meet the Eagles in a 2A Region 17 contest on Tuesday, September 30. The Eagles enter the contest with a record of 4-9. American Leadership Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Rowland Hall (Salt Lake City, UT)

Next, the Knights meet the American Prep WV Eagles (West Valley City, UT) in a 2A Region 16 contest, on Tuesday, September 30. Merit Preparatory Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-11 season record.
