Purdy Eagles (Purdy, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting McAuley Catholic Warriors (Joplin, MO), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrisonville (Harrisonville, MO). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-6 record. In their last challenge, Harrisonville beat Summit Christian Academy (Lee's Summit, MO), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Rich Hill Tigers (Rich Hill, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 29. McAuley Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-10 season record.
