The St. Thomas More Cougars volleyball squad (Lafayette, LA), was edged 2-1 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Mt. Carmel Cubs (New Orleans, LA)

With the win, Mt. Carmel improves its record to 20-2 on the season. The Cubs travel to Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, MS) to encounter the Patriots in a non-league battle on Friday, September 26. The Patriots go into the battle with a record of 22-11. Madison-Ridgeland Academy won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS)
