California High School Volleyball - Newbury Park tips Saugus

The Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) volleyball held off the visiting Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA), 2-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 17-8 record. They play next when they host Calabasas for a Marmonte match on Tuesday, September 30. Newbury Park will battle a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Coyotes record now stands at 4-14.

The Centurions (24-5) will now prepare for their match against Crescenta Valley (La Crescenta, CA). The Falcons enter the non-league match with a 11-10 record. In their last match, Crescenta Valley held off Muir (Pasadena, CA), 3-0, in a league bout.
