The Ninety Six Wildcats edged the visiting St. James Sharks volleyball team by a margin of 2-1 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hartsville for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. Ninety Six will play a Red Foxes squad coming off a 3-1 league win over South Florence (Florence, SC). The Red Foxes record now stands at 14-3.
The Sharks (11-9) will now prepare for their match against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles enter the non-league match with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Gray Collegiate Academy nipped Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC), 3-0, in a league bout.
