In Friday's non-league test, the host Smyrna Eagles volleyball squad scored a 3-1 win over the Wilmington Charter Force.

With the win, Smyrna improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE) to face the Riders in a Henlopen North challenge on Tuesday, September 30. The Riders come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Caesar Rodney won 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)

The Force (1-6) will now prepare for their game against MOT Charter (Middletown, DE). The Mustangs go into the Diamond State game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, MOT Charter gained a win over Odessa (Townsend, DE), 3-0, in a non-league game.
