In Monday's league battle, the visiting Jasper Wildcats soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Evansville Bosse Bulldogs.
The Wildcats (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bloomington South (Bloomington, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Bloomington South was overwhelmed by Columbus East (Columbus, IN), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Evansville North (Evansville, IN). The Huskies come into the Southern Indiana battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Evansville North was overwhelmed by Columbus North (Columbus, IN), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Game Summary
* Jasper got on the board in the 10th minute when Ortiz found Enriquez in the middle of the box.
* Jasper finished the half with a flurry from Elizarrares. He scored 3 goals in the final 14 minutes of the half. One assisted by Leonard.
* Flannagan hit Pena with a long cross in the 44th for a great one-touch finish.
* Then Noah Pieper notched his first two goals of the season. The first assisted by Schue.
* Schue added a rebound of his own in the 75th.
