In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Ridgeland/Hardeeville Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Whale Branch Warriors.
The Jaguars (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC). The Iron Horses come into the AA Region VI battle with a 14-3 record. In their last battle, Philip Simmons defeated Socastee (Myrtle Beach, SC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors encounter the Charleston Math & Science Riptide (Charleston, SC) in a A Region VII battle, on Tuesday, September 28. Whale Branch will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Riptide come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 league win over Military Magnet Academy (North Charleston, SC).
