The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Cibola Cougars (Albuquerque, NM), saw Sandia's volleyball squad beat Cibola by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Sandia upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Matadors host Farmington (Farmington, NM) to play the Scorpions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. The Scorpions go into the bout with a record of 8-11.
The Cougars now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cleveland for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 4. Cibola will play a Storm squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 4-2.
