The St. James Saints (Hagerstown, MD) soccer nudged the host Bishop Walsh Spartans (Cumberland, MD), 2-1 in Tuesday's league bout.
With the win, St. James moves its record to 2-3 on the campaign. The Saints host St. Andrew's Episcopal (Potomac, MD) to battle the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, September 30. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-0. St. Andrew's Episcopal won 4-1 in their recent league bout against Flint Hill (Oakton, VA)
In their next game, the Spartans battle the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 29. Bishop Walsh will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Sentinels go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 7-0 league loss to Mountain Ridge (Frostburg, MD).
