Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Chargers face the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban Red challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Stagg will attempt to better on its 14-2 season record. The Thunderbolts enter the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL).
The Vikings now have a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bolingbrook for a SouthWest Suburban Blue challenge on Thursday, September 29. Homewood-Flossmoor will face a Raiders team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 8-5.
