Notre Dame Bulldogs (Cape Girardeau, MO) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host St. Pius X Lancers (Festus, MO), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs confront the Carbondale Terriers (Carbondale, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 28. Notre Dame will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Terriers enter the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Centralia (Centralia, IL).

The Lancers now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brentwood for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 5. St. Pius X will confront a Eagles team coming off a 7-0 non-league win over Crossroads (St. Louis, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-5.
