Plainfield North Tigers (Plainfield, IL) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 8-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Tigers face the Yorkville Foxes (Yorkville, IL) in a Suburban Prairie challenge, on Thursday, September 29. Plainfield North will attempt to better on its 14-3 season record. The Foxes enter the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 5-1 league loss to Joliet West (Joliet, IL).
The Cougars now have a 6-6 record. They take the field next when they host Minooka for a Suburban Prairie challenge on Thursday, September 29. Plainfield South will face a Indians team coming off a 4-3 league loss to West Aurora (Aurora, IL). The Indians record now stands at 8-8.
