With the win, River View moves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Black Bears host Minerva (Minerva, OH) to battle the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-5.

In their next game, the Scotties battle the New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 29. Tri-Valley will attempt to move on its 7-6 season record. The Quakers go into the bout with a 4-6 record after their 2-1 league loss to Madison Comprehensive (Mansfield, OH).
