Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Chickasha Fighting Chicks (Chickasha, OK), 8-7 in a non-league challenge.
The Pirates now own a 4-0 record.
With the loss, Chickasha falls to 13-7 on the campaign. The Fighting chicks travel to Edmond Santa Fe (Edmond, OK) to battle the Wolves in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 29. The Wolves enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
