Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) and the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), witnessed Emanuel County Institute's softball squad prevail over McIntosh County Academy by a count of 12-0.

The Bulldogs now sport a 16-4 record. They play next when they travel to Montgomery County for a 1A D-II Region 3 match on Wednesday, September 28. Emanuel County Institute will face a Eagles squad coming off a 12-0 league win over Jenkins County (Millen, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 9-8.

With the loss, McIntosh County Academy moves to 2-15 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Harris County (Hamilton, GA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, September 29. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 19-4. Harris County won 16-0 in their recent league game against Drew (Riverdale, GA)
