The Mount Vernon Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Atlanta Classical Academy Cavaliers to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now have a 14-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gordon Lee for a non-league game on Saturday, October 1. Mount Vernon will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dade County (Trenton, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 15-18.

The Cavaliers (5-20) will now prepare for their game against KIPP Atlanta Collegiate (Atlanta, GA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 5-20 record. In their last game, KIPP Atlanta Collegiate dropped by Mount Paran Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 2-0, in a league game.
