The Butte County Pirates volleyball team (Arco, ID), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host West Jefferson Panthers (Terreton, ID)

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages enter the 2A Nuclear challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Salmon nipped North Fremont (Ashton, ID), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Pirates meet the Aberdeen Tigers (Aberdeen, ID) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. Butte County will attempt to move on its 8-7 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID).
