The Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) volleyball were winner over the visiting Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE), 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.

With the win, Gothenburg betters its record to 20-2 on the year. The Swedes travel to Valentine (Valentine, NE) to face the in a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 4. The go into the outing with a record of 6-12. Valentine lost 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hershey (Hershey, NE)

The Plainsmen now sport a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Chase County for a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 27. Perkins County will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over South Loup (Arnold, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 7-8.
