The Mary Persons Bulldogs prevailed the visiting Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs now have a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jones County for a non-league test on Thursday, September 29. Mary Persons will confront a Greyhounds team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Ola (McDonough, GA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 13-11.
The Cavaliers (8-18) will now prepare for their test against Stratford Academy (Macon, GA). The Eagles enter the GIAA 6AAA test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Stratford Academy dropped by Loganville Christian Academy (Loganville, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
