In Tuesday's league contest, the Perry Bluejays (Perry, IA) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs (Monroe, IA), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Bluejays battle the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a Heart of Iowa contest, on Tuesday, October 4. Perry will attempt to better on its 6-18 season record.

With the loss, Prairie City-Monroe moves to 0-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to West Marshall (State Center, IA) to battle the Trojans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 4. The Trojans go into the contest with a record of 2-2. West Marshall won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Ballard (Huxley, IA)
