The Turner Golden Bears volleyball team (Kansas City, KS), went down 2-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Shawnee Heights Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, KS)

The Thunderbirds (10-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Basehor-Linwood (Basehor, KS). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-21 record. In their last challenge, Basehor-Linwood went down by Maize South (Wichita, KS), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Golden Bears encounter the De Soto Wildcats (De Soto, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 4. Turner will attempt to move on its 3-14 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Heritage Christian Academy (Olathe, KS).
