The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Ocean Lakes Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA), saw Ocean Lakes's volleyball squad nip Indian River by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Ocean Lakes upgrades its record to 9-2 on the year. The Dolphins travel to Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA) to play the Lions in a Beach bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 4-6.

The Braves now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to King's Fork for a Southeastern bout on Thursday, September 28. Indian River will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-2.
