In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Freeport Falcons soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Morse Shipbuilders.
The Falcons (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln Academy (Newcastle, ME). The Eagles come into the Class B - South battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Lincoln Academy by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
The Shipbuilders (4-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Region (Naples, ME). The Lakers come into the Class B - South battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Region nudged Fryeburg (Fryeburg, ME), 2-1, in a league battle.
