The South St. Paul Packers smashed the visiting Richfield Spartans soccer squad by a margin of 8-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Packers now sport a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Simley for a Class A Section 3 match on Thursday, September 28. South St. Paul will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 3-8.
