The Montverde Academy Eagles held off the host Lake Minneola Hawks volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Eagles now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Windermere for a non-league test on Friday, September 29. Montverde Academy will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Edgewater (Orlando, FL). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-3.
The Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their test against South Lake (Groveland, FL). The Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, South Lake was nudged by Montverde Academy (Montverde, FL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
