South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Central Knights (Providence, RI), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Rebels face the Central Falls Warriors (Central Falls, RI) in a Division 1 challenge, on Friday, September 29. South Kingstown will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 4-1 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI).
The Knights now have a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Tolman for a Division 1 challenge on Saturday, September 30. Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Bishop Hendricken (Warwick, RI). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.
