In Wednesday's league game, the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) soccer squad overwhelmed the visiting Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD), by a final score of 6-0.

The Yellowjackets (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North (Laurel, MD). The Tigers go into the Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North was overwhelmed by Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD), 4-0, in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 1A/2A/3A challenge on Monday, October 2. Potomac will confront a Hornets team coming off a 2-1 league loss to International High School at Largo (Largo, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 2-4.
