The Hatchets now sport a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sullivan for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 3. Washington will meet a Golden Arrows squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Owen Valley (Spencer, IN). The Golden Arrows record now stands at 3-10.

With the loss, Mt. Vernon drops to 8-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Heritage Hills (Lincoln City, IN) to meet the Patriots in a non-league test on Monday, October 2. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 10-4. Heritage Hills won 9-0 in their recent non-league test against South Spencer (Rockport, IN)
