Richland County Tigers (Olney, IL) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Salem Wildcats (Salem, IL), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers confront the Lincoln Railsplitters (Lincoln, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 29. Richland County will attempt to better on its 8-5 season record. The Railsplitters enter the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 7-2 league loss to Normal University (Normal, IL).

The Wildcats now have a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 30. Salem will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 8-0 league win over Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.
