Spectators at Wednesday's non-league match between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the host Callaway Cavaliers (Hogansville, GA), witnessed LaGrange's softball squad prevail over Callaway by a count of 13-1.

The Grangers now sport a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Starr's Mill for a 4A Region 4 match on Thursday, September 28. LaGrange will face a Panthers squad coming off a 15-2 league win over Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-9.

With the loss, Callaway moves to 7-8 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Columbia (Decatur, GA) to face the Eagles in a 2A Region 5 match on Tuesday, October 3. The Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-4. Columbia 0-0 in their recent league match against Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA)
