The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Lutcher Bulldogs (Lutcher, LA) and the host Central Catholic Eagles (Morgan City, LA), saw Lutcher's volleyball squad nip Central Catholic by a tally of 3-2.

With the win, Lutcher upgrades its record to 13-8 on the year. The Bulldogs host Destrehan (Destrehan, LA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Destrehan won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA)

The Eagles now own a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Archbishop Hannan for a non-league bout on Friday, September 29. Central Catholic will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Hawks record now stands at 16-2.
