The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the South Kingstown Rebels (Wakefield, RI) and the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), saw South Kingstown's volleyball squad beat Cranston East by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, South Kingstown upgrades its record to 3-4 on the year. The Rebels host Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Chariho won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)

The Thunderbolts now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to La Salle Academy for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2. Cranston East will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Classical (Providence, RI). The Rams record now stands at 7-3.
