In Wednesday's non-league battle, the host Woodlawn-B.R. Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Doyle Tigers.
The Panthers (11-8) will now prepare for their battle against White Castle (White Castle, LA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, White Castle defeated Baker (Baker, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers encounter the Independence Tigers (Independence, LA) in a Division IV District 4 battle, on Thursday, September 28. Doyle will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, LA).
