The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Firth Cougars (Firth, ID) and the visiting West Side Pirates (Dayton, ID), saw Firth's volleyball squad beat West Side by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Firth upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to West Jefferson (Terreton, ID) to play the Panthers in a 2A Nuclear bout on Tuesday, October 3. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-11. West Jefferson lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against North Fremont (Ashton, ID)

The Pirates now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Soda Springs for a 2A South East Idaho bout on Thursday, September 28. West Side will play a Cardinals squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-12.
