The Nicholas County Bluejackets volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Fleming County Panthers to 2 in the Bluejackets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Bluejackets now have a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pendleton County for a District 38 game on Saturday, September 30. Nicholas County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Augusta (Augusta, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 12-11.

The Panthers (13-12) will now prepare for their game against Bracken County (Brooksville, KY). The Polar Bears enter the non-league game with a 12-15 record. In their last game, Bracken County was nudged by Walton-Verona (Walton, KY), 2-1, in a non-league game.
