In Wednesday's league contest, the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) volleyball squad knocked off the host Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Gophers battle the Gilbert Christian Knights (Gilbert, AZ) in a 3A - South Central contest, on Monday, October 2. Florence will attempt to better on its 10-10 season record.
